In loving memory of Orville R. Hartman of Chester, Illinois, who departed this world on September 24, 2025 at the age of 87. Orville leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Hartman and Hilda Hartman; his son-in-law Bruce Rowland; and his brother-in-law Bob Asbury. He is survived by: his wife Betty Walker; his daughters, Nancy (Don) and Brenda; his sister Darlene; his grandchildren, Lindsay Rowland, Brandon Straight (Brandi), Brooke Straight and Amanda Rowland; his great grandchildren, Brayden and Bryant Straight; and his sister-in-law Mary Smith Mt (Lee). He is also survived by Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (302 W Holmes St, Chester, IL 62233).
