She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd E. Griffin and Alvena E. Griffin; her spouse Byron R. "Barney" Preston; her son Randy Bert; and her siblings, Robert Griffin (Margaret), Lloyd "Eddie" Griffin, Jr. and Patricia Tindall (Robert).
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Bert (Robin), Scott (Becky), Brian (Ronda), Sheri, Teri (Darrell) and Geri; her stepdaughter Lori (Al); her grandchildren, Michael Bert, Ryan Bert (Polly), Nick Bert (Marci), Jeff Bert (Summer), Jordan Fautley (Jake), Joe Bert, Casey Peters (Jarrod), Haley Williams (Dane), McKenzi Hoffman (Jon), Paul Bert (Ashly), Danielle Valleroy (Danny), Derek Crum (Mandy), Taylor Morgan (Wesley), Stephen Herschbach and Kelli Herschbach (Colin McKinley); and her stepgrandchildren, Lance Zahner (Amber), Miranda Zahner, Devan Walker and Emily Galston. She is also survived by 35 Great Grandchildren Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (701 State St, Chester, IL 62233). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
