We bid farewell to Basil Booton of Chicago Heights, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 20, 2026 at the age of 98. Basil touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his siblings, Elaine Fritz Massey, Marilyn Enichlmeir, Rosemary Carrera and Duane Booton; and his parents, Murza "Mickey" Isador Booton and Pearl Marie Booton.
He is survived by: his children, Katharine Wilson (Gregg) and Barry Booton; and his sister Joan Kamberis (William). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnephews and a grandniece.
