She was predeceased by : her husband Alejandro Alfaro; her parents, Ramona Fernandez and Manuel Fernandez; and her siblings, Salvador Fernández (late Amparo), Eloiza Fernández and Nazaria Fernández.

She is survived by : her children, Ramona Chavollo (Benjamin), Maximino Alfaro (Rosa), Maria Castillo (Miguel), Daniel Alfaro (Ana), Juan Alfaro (Laura) and Alejandrina Carbajal (Gabriel).

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home (530 W 14th St, Chicago Heights, IL 60411). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 8th 2024 at 9:15 AM at the same location.
