We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2025, Frances K. Peña of Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Joseph Peña; her parents, Minnie Notoriano and Charles Notoriano; and her siblings, Frank Notoriano and Carmella Johnson (late Robert).
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Cary; her grandchildren, Lisa Anderson (Eric), Steven Seeder (Jennifer), Frank Cary (Isabel) and Jessica Cary (Aaron Montgomery); her great-niece Anna Patrizi (Louis III); her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Hank, Heidi, Hailey, Zane, Eleanor and Finn; and her great-grandaunt Sofia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL 60475). A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the San Rocco Oratory (315 22nd St, Chicago Heights, IL 60411). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Assumption Cemetery (19500 Cottage Grove Ave, Glenwood, IL 60425).
