He is survived by: his children, Patricia "Patti" Hayes (John) and Thomas Shine (Sherry); his grandchildren, Dr. John Ryan Hayes (Patricia "Patti"), Jennifer Hayes, Daniel Shine, Cayla Shine, Megan Shine, Matthew Shine and Connor Shine; and his great grandchildren, Holden Hayes and Elsie Hayes.
