He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Dolores Zambrano; his daughter Martha Alicia Altamirano (late Jaime); and his parents, Loreto Zambrano and Irineo Zambrano. He is survived by: his children, Rosa Zambrano, Pasquala Zambrano, Juana Zambrano, Anna Reyes (Abel) and Piedad Dolores Zambrano; his grandchildren, Jaime Altamirano Jr., Rosa Altamirano, Naomi Altamirano, Abel Reyes Jr. and Maribel Godinez (José); and his siblings, Sara Lopez, Ramona Zambrano and Jose Zambrano.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home (530 W 14th St, Chicago Heights, IL 60411). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location.
