He is survived by: his brother Melvin Calhoun of Saginaw, Michigan; his sisters-in-law, Mattie Calhoun of Saginaw and Diane Calhoun of Montgomery, Alabama; his friends, Bro. Abraham Giles, John Lewis and Bro. Thomas Johnson; and his children, Lana, MeShawn, John, Clementine (Clem), Toya, Dorothy, Patricia, Marie, Frank (Geraldine), Lorraine, Decenda, Lorinda (Wilson), Marvin, Delett (Tim), David, Janet, Jimmy and Steven.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Woods Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LTD. (1003 S Halsted St, Chicago Heights, IL 60411). A wake will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Holy Temple Cathedral (15912 Lincoln Ave, Harvey, IL 60426). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
