He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley; his parents, Rose Nardi and Joseph S. Nardi Sr.; his brother Frank Nardi (late Pam); and his brother-in-law David Krueger (late Marion).
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Nardi, Lynn Bussey and Sandra Lalla (late Kenneth); his grandchildren, Dr Melissa Briones (Bryan), Teresa Lopez (Marc), Dana Woods, Chris Lalla (Becky), Timothy Lalla (Westin Siemsglusz) and Heather DeRaedt (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Jalen, Isabel, Gianna, Graeme, Layla, Olivia, Mason, Emily and Connor; and his brother-in-law Douglas Krueger (Alma).
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home (530 W 14th St, Chicago Heights, IL 60411). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 13th 2026 at 9:15 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, April 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
