It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lacheta of Chicago Heights, Illinois, who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Susanna Lacheta; and his siblings, James Lacheta, John Lacheta, Gertrude Tegler and Florence Lacheta.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Buczkowski (Bryan) and Janice Jordan (Anthony); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Kaylin, Jacob, Clara and Allan; and his sister-in-law Mary Lacheta.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL 60475). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Liborius Catholic Church (71 W 35th St, Steger, IL 60475). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
