He was predeceased by: his sisters, Arlene Levigne, Barbara DeMarco (Joe) and Sharon McManigal (late Tim); his parents, John Gallagher and Dorothy Gallagher; and his parents-in-law, James and Peggy Dullard.
He is survived by: his wife Kathie; his children, James Gallagher (Ari), Michele Kintz (Joe), Nicholas Gallagher and Sherrie Gallagher; his grandchildren, James Kintz, Arnie and Fiona; his siblings, John Gallagher (late Sue), Frances Cliff, Maureen Tarrant (Alan) and Sandy Gory (Mike); his siblings-in-law, Patrick Dullard, Maureen and Colleen White; and his godchildren, Kris, Kelly and Carrie.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 8:30 AM. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Linus Catholic Church (10300 S Lawler Ave, Alsip, IL 60803).
