He is survived by: his cousin Jose "Nino" Soto; his wife Theresa T. Yepez; his children, Anna, David and Alicia; his grandson Brett; and his siblings, Jesus Yepez (Teresa) and Guadalupe Ayala (Luis).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM at the Parkside Chapels & Cremation Services (5948 S Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Faustina Kowalska Church (Formerly St. Jane de Chantal Church) (5259 S McVicker Ave, Chicago, IL 60638). A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Resurrection Cemetery (7201 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458).
