He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Corlys; his children, Ari Fleishman (Reed), Todd Fine (Jessie), Stephani Fine and Jami Waller (Brian); his grandchildren, Jolie, Evie and Benson; his sister Bonnie Weiner; his brother-in-law Marc Millstein; and his nephew Matthew Korbakes.
A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Shalom Chapel Service Shalom Memorial Funeral Home (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
Alan was impressed by the prostate cancer research of Dr. David Vandewheele and the SPORE Research team, so in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Care Center of Northwestern University, cancer.northwestern.edu.
