It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alegria E. Bacerdo of Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 10, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Jansel; her daughter Maxine (Alex Angeles); her siblings, Eligio, Teodore (Celedonia) and Jessica; and her parents, Julia and Ruperto.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (6150 N Cicero Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A Mass will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Benedict Church (2215 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60618). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Maryhill Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
