He was predeceased by: his parents, Andres Castillo Sr. and Francisca Castillo; and his siblings, Adolfo Castillo, Adam Castillo and Aurora Castillo.

He is survived by: his wife Juanita Castillo; his daughter Vivian Galvan; his son-in-law Benito Gomez; his grandchildren, Benito Gomez Jr., Benjamin Gomez, Marissa Gomez and Maliyah Gomez; and his sisters, Anna Castillo, Andrea Castillo, Anacelia Castillo and Maria Antonia Castillo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory (4001 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:45 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7201 S Archer Ave, Bedford Park, IL 60501).

Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL, In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations.
