Angelo Karavites Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Angelo Karavites (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on October 25, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Janet Karavites (Yore); his parents, Nicholas Karavites and Metaxia Karavites (Kolokouris); his children, Metaxia Schmitz (Raymond), Nicholas Karavites (Lindsey), Athena Pruim (Rob), Demetrius Karavites and Iphigeneia Karavites; his grandchildren, Trevor, Ian, Gavin Schmitz, Kalliope, Sarafina, Lukas, Alexander, Zakary Pruim, Jakob and Emma O'Connell; his siblings, Peter Karavites (late Adamadia), Demetrios Karavites, Georgia Tsapralis (late George), Kiki Stevens (Stanley) and Effie Diamond (late Tony); and his siblings-in-law, MaryAnn Baer (Bill), Nancy Hoffman (Jeff), Thomas Yore (Alan), Dona Gradowski (Joe) and Dann Swan (Mary).
