She was predeceased by : her husband Ben; her son Peter Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Marie and Anthony; her parents, Jesus Barelas and Jesusita Barelas; and her sibling Lupe Pruitt (late Paul).

She is survived by : her children, Tudy Gomez (GG), Phil Rodriguez (Lisa), Luis Rodriguez (Margarita), Benito Rodriguez (Laura), Anne Romero (George), Teresa Munoz (Jose) and Judy Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Yvonne, Gil Jr., Brian, Lisa, Lou Jr., Stephanie, Benjamin, Benito Jr., Andrea, Peter, Christian, Marina, George Jr., Michael and Lia; and her sister Bertha Mendoza (late Jerry).
