She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ines Manzanares and Raul Tejeda; her siblings, Trinidad, Julia, Alicia, Magdalena, Simon, Ines, Esteban, Raul and Angel; her grandchildren, Gloria, Mariana, Eduardo Delgado, Damian Enrique, Emma Sofia Zarate and Santiago Rafael Lopez; her children, Hugo Tejeda (Adam Wiatros), Berenice Tejeda (Elio Castro), Diana Zarate (Miguel Valtierra), Adriana Zarate (Rigoberto Lopez) and Agustin Zarate (Martha Elisa Zarate); her niece Erika Medina; and her great-nephew Vicente Delgado.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (2127 W 22nd Pl, Chicago, IL 60608).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
