She was predeceased by: her parents, Eduardo Chapa and Maria Chapa; her husband Alonso Garza; and her siblings, Alicia, Edelia, Jesus and Hermila.
She is survived by: her children, Alonso J. III, P. D. Garza (Barbara Menzel), Edwin D. Garza (Delia) and Nora E. Garza; and her grandsons, Edwin Garza, Alexander Garza, Andrew Garza, David Garza and Steven Garza.
