She was predeceased by: her parents, Jozef and Joanna; her brother Fred Malinowski; her sister-in-law Harriet Malinowski; her sister Teresa Mschieczeka; and her brother-in-law Ira Helton (Jan).

She is survived by: her husband James Helton; her daughters, Denise Marin of Tucson, Arizona, Vicki Waldrep (Lyn) of Athens, Alabama and Joanna Helton of Pell City, Alabama.; her grandchildren, Alec DeSantis, Jeneca Marin, Lydia Helton, Andrew Waldrep and Elizabeth Waldrep; her in-laws, James and Ellen; and her siblings-in-law, David (Kathy), Granville (Carolyn), Kenneth (Jeri) and Nancy Scott (Ray).
