Benedict S. Hosek, age 91, passed away on November 8, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Ben was a 52 year resident of Galewood, and he was the owner of Ben Hosek & Sons, Inc. Ben is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jane (Talento) Hosek and his six children including Bernadette (Steve) Zeppetello, Victoria Drennan, Joseph Hosek, Lieutenant CFD Benedict J. Hosek (Hilary), Jacqueline Hosek (fiancee Greg Robertazzo), and Gina (Lou) Ligouri. Ben is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Ben was a veteran of the United States Army, and he was a member of the Moose Lodge for over 50 years. Ben was a devoted member of St. William Parish for over 44 years, and he became a Eucharistic minister, delivering communion to parish members. Ben truly lived life to the fullest.
