We announce the death of Bernard A. Luszcz of Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 101. Bernard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Nora; and his siblings, Jean McCarthy (Roy), Irene Brown (Ray), Evelyn Schiel (Ed), Therese UpChurch (Tom), Bernadette Knetter (Ralph) and Dorothy Burroughs (Jim).
He is survived by: his children, John Luszcz (Joan), Noreen Luszcz (Bill Johnston) and Eileen Luszcz; his grandchildren, Erin Johnston (Charles Dunk), Delaney Johnston (Ryan Thomas), Pamela Ciesielski (Ed) and Molly Sheaffer (Rob); and his great grandchildren, Jackson and Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Borgia Roman Catholic Church (8033 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60634). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church (8033 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60634). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
