It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Szpila (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on September 5, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Warush and Salomea Warush; her husband Walter; and her siblings, John, Joseph, Edward, Helen and Mary Ann.

She is survived by: her children, Richard (Maureen Ford), John, Karen and James (Kathleen Stanton); her granddaughters, Cate and Sophia Rose; and her sisters, Teresa (Warush), Jane (Zawkiewicz) and Cecelia (Rieker).
