She was predeceased by: her parents, Naotaro Kato and Hideko Kato; her husband Mototsugu M. Morita Jr.; and her siblings, Walter and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her sister Dorry (Twinkies); her children, Paul, David, Betty and Mark Morita (Lisa); her grandson Jackson; her daughter Julie Morita (Bill Trick); her grandchildren, Megan, Jake, Paul Morita (Marin) and David Morita Above; Flora (Betty).
Everything changed in 1942 when Executive Order 9066 forced Japanese Americans into incarceration camps.
