She was predeceased by: her siblings, Einar Olsen, Geri Zimmerman and Gail Jasionowski. She is survived by: her husband Ron; her daughters, Christine Meland (Kane) and April Migel (Pooley); her grandchildren, Kayla Nambo (Alex), Nathan Meland (Kirstin Cruise) and Joey Bruno; and her siblings, Kathy Joseph and Arne Olsen (Marie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cardinal Funeral & Cremation Services (7715 US-14, Crystal Lake, IL 60012). A prayer will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Cardinal Funeral & Cremation Services, Ltd. (7715 US-14, Crystal Lake, IL 60012).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Dementia Society of America (http://qr.dementiasociety.com), or specifically to their Frontotemporal Dementia program.
