She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugenio Laspiñas and Felicisima Canarias. She is survived by: her children, Carmelo Martinez (Emma Liwanag), Gemma Maroon (Robert Maroon) and Wilbert Martinez (Marifel Maroon); and her grandchildren, Lucette Maroon (Benjamin Usha), Justyn Maroon (Anna Gomolski), Maverick Martinez and Angelyn Liwanag.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (6150 N Cicero Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Queen of All Saints Basilica (6280 N Sauganash Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Maryhill Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
