She was predeceased by: her husband Santo "Sonny" Damico; her parents, Frances Tenuta and Joseph Tenuta; and her brothers, Eugene (Genie) and Salvatore Tenuta (Cookie).
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Raemont (Paul), Justine Santello (Joe) and Jeanine "GiGi" Ruffolo (Frank); her grandchildren, Frank Ruffolo (Natalie), Mario Ruffolo, Joseph Santello (Madeline), Jianna Santello, Catherine Santello Sweeney (Nolan), Arianna and Nina Raemont; her great grandchildren, Frank Anthony Ruffolo Jr., Isabella Sweeney and Adriana Sweeney; her aunt Irene Blumenschein (late Joseph DiAngelo); and her godchildren, Karen Damico Halloran and Joey Tenuta.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michael Coletta & Sons Funeral Home (544 W 31st St, Chicago, IL 60616). A prayer was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Jerome Croatian Catholic Church (2823 S Princeton Ave, Chicago, IL 60616). A burial was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at the St. Mary Cemetery W 87th.
