He is survived by: his children, Michael Askew (Brenda) of Lilburn, GA and Angela Powell (Julius) of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Brandon, Brian, Daniel and Brittany; his great grandchild Khaleesi; and his sisters, Annie Hargraves, Eleanor Gray and Eloise Butler. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
