He was predeceased by: his wife Edythe "Edy" L. Fitzgerald; and his son Joseph Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his children, Robert Fitzgerald (Nancy) and Catherine Rosen; and his granddaughters, Ruth and Lucy Rosen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Barnabas Parish (10134 S Longwood Dr, Chicago, IL 60643).
