He is survived by: his siblings, Robert, Andrew, Sharon, Kathleen and Charlene; his wife Betty; his children, Susan, Nancy (Jason), Barbara (Darren), Thomas and Daniel (Holly); and his grandchildren, Nicole Kane, Colin Werner and Erin Werner.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Malec & Sons Funeral Home (6000 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A prayer will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edward Catholic Church (4350 W Sunnyside Ave, Chicago, IL 60630).
