He was predeceased by: his nephews, Jeff Cashell and Steve Cashell; his brother Tom Steppat; and his parents, Frank Steppat and Marjorie Moser.
He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Galin (Matthew); his grandchildren, Zachary Galin and Anna Galin; his nieces and nephews, Jay Steppat, Jill Smith and Chris Cashell; and his siblings, Kathy Cashell (Bill) and Bob Steppat.
