He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Salata and George Salata. He is survived by: his children, Brian Salata and Nicole Salata; and his brother Wayne Salata (Susan).
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home (7812 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at the St. Adalbert Cemetery (6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
