She is survived by: her spouse Kshitindra Nath Roy; her children, Mayurakshi Roy (Bampi) and Sudhin Roy (Babu); her daughter-in-law Dr. Kalpana Gupta; and her grandsons, Ishaan Roy (Bodo Khokha) and Rohan Roy (Choto Khokha).
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she maintained her sharp intellectual curiosity by completing over a dozen online courses in the US Constitution and Politics and continued her streak as a straight A student.
