She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Siggins and John Siggins; her husband Gerald John McGarry; her son Dennis McGarry; and her siblings, Kathleen McNally, Jean Gaffney and Walter Siggins.
She is survived by: her children, Michael McGarry (Lynn Libera), Marty McGarry (Mary), Diane McGarry Mrozek (Ernie), Debbie McGarry Calvillo, Stephen McGarry (Joyce), John McGarry, Patrick McGarry (Susan), Daniel McGarry (Jane) and Marikay McGarry. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 26+ great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (8404 S Cass Ave, Darien, IL 60561). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Mercy Home for Boys and Girls or in support of the Mercy Home Sunday Mass which Dee watched/listened to every Sunday since Covid; https://www.mercyhome.org .
