He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Angelica; his children, Daniel Melton, Angela Dornbos, Kacie Dornbos, Nicholas Dornbos and Sarah Melton; his grandson Axel Melton; and his siblings, James Dornbos, Edward Dornbos (Joy), William Dornbos (Cecelia) and Karen Krzos (late Richard).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Foran Funeral Home (7300 W Archer Ave, Summit, IL 60501). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
