He is survived by: his wife Betty Griffin of Columbus, Mississippi; his children, Norma Jones (Peter) of Columbus, Mississippi, Ivy Carter (Leonard) of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Earlene Russell of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Johnathan Griffin of Peoria, Illinois, Madzimoyo Owusu of Columbus, Mississippi and Wade Corey Griffin of Marksville, Louisiana; and his daughter-in-law Eva Griffin. He is also survived by his 32 grandchildren, along with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
