With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward R. Bednarz (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on December 16, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Bednarz and Josephine Bednarz; his wife Clarice Bednarz; and his daughter Ruth Bednarz. He is survived by: his children, Diane Ranos (Donald), Christine Wolf, Jeanne Jones (Steve), Loreen Crocker (Robert) and Robert Bednarz (Jillian); his grandchildren, Pamela Horbach, Kimberly Brown, Lisa Bowen, Dana Wolf, Matthew Wolf, Kalli Bednarz, Hannah Jones, Kateland Jones, Tyler Armstrong and Ryan Armstrong; his great grandchildren, Blake Horbach, Brooklyn Horbach, Lucas Brown, Caleb Brown, Jaxson Bowen and Carson Bowen; and his sister Joan Berry. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and longtime friends.
