He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Blitz and Libbie Greenberg Blitz; his significant other Kim Blitz (Kim Kun Ok); and his siblings, Herman Blitz (Jean Radwin), Gloria Sherow (Asher) and Ethel Rosenthal (Morton).
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Caryn Blitz and Dr. David Blitz; and his daughter-in-law Karen Sackheim. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, friends.
