He was predeceased by: his parents, Deacon Bodakh (Miriam DeKasha) and Eli. He is survived by: his spouse Yasmin Youhanna; his children, Zena Panchuk (Orest), Georgette "Gigi" (Mark Whittington), George (Nicole) and Miriam "Mimi" David (Joseph); his siblings, Epfrim, Helen DeKelaita (George) and Katherine Nicolas; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Madeleine, Jack, Amelia, Evelyn and Kent. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and wife.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (6150 N Cicero Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Assyrian Church (901 N Milwaukee Ave, Glenview, IL 60025). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (2905 Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Andrew's Assyrian Church of the East would be appreciated.
