Elton Lacy, Jr., 36, departed this life on April 28, 2026, at his home in Chicago, IL. He was born on January 6, 1990, in Springfield, the son of Dorothy J. WIlson and Elton Lacy, Sr. Elton graduated from Lee High School in 2008 in Springfield, IL.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Catherine and George Crawford; Maxine and Walter Coats, Jr.; aunts, Loretta McFarland and Eva Wilson; and uncles, Cherry Slaughter and Christopher Wilson.
His living cherished loved ones are: mother; Dorothy Wilson of Springfield, IL, brothers; Kendall JI Lacy of Evansville, Indiana, Kendrick LE Lacy of Evansville, Indiana, and MaKeam Wilson of Springfield, IL, sisters; Kindra Lacy of Springfield, IL, Mia Wilson of Springfield, IL, and MaKeigh Wilson of Springfield, IL, father; Elton Lacy Sr. of Springfield, IL, his father's side, Irene Coats of OH, Emma Coats of Springfield, IL, Lizzie Coats of FL, and special loved one, Deloris Brown; and his mother's side, Kassandra (Paul, deceased) Edordu, Linda Wilson, Brenda Foday-Kapa, Ramona (Maurice) Wilson Sanders, Ronnie (wife) Wilson, Darrell Wilson, and Benthy P.
