She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Abelardo C. Caburnay; her children, Bernadette (Rafed Hmadi), Christina Lu (Phu) and David (Theresa Lam); and her grandchildren, Noel Serrano, Charlotte Lu, Liam Lu, James Lu, Ramy Hmadi and Caleb Lu.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (4800 N Austin Ave, Chicago, IL 60630). A prayer was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church (4646 N Austin Ave, Chicago, IL 60630). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at the Maryhill Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
