It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fabian Barrera Jr. (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on June 16, 2025, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Fabian may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Fabian touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Fabian Barrera. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Barrera; his daughter Alexis J Barrera; and his siblings, Rachel Sanchez-Figueroa (Rigoberto), Carlos Barrera and Edwin Barrera (Yasmin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sadowski Funeral Home (13300 S Houston Ave, Chicago, IL 60633). A prayer will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
