He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Guillermina Mota and Raúl Herrera; his spouse María Eugenia Cerón; his daughters, Cynthia Herrera, Karina Herrera, Victoria Herrera, Alexa Herrera and Yvette Herrera; his grandchildren, Jaden Lee LoRusso, Katelynn Arielle Carvajal, Alysson Velazquez, Laurynn Isabelle Carvajal, Michael Jr. Carvajal, Jovi Fernando Zavala, Natalia Rhea Zavala and Leo Alexander Carvajal; and his siblings, Raúl Herrera, Andres Herrera, Gabriela Herrera, Ruben Herrera, Yuridia Herrera, Yolanda Herrera, Juan Miranda, Edgar Herrera, Guadalupe Galindo and Samuel Jr. Galindo. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren, family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home (6901 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Bosco Catholic Church (2250 N McVicker Ave, Chicago, IL 60639). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Maryhill Catholic Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
