Fred J. Kuzara Obituary
Fred J. Kuzara Jr. (81) Died on September 12th 2017 while in Seasons Hospice part of MacNeal Hospital. Fred was surrounded by those who comforted him through all the many complications that accompany a long brave battle with Alzheimer"s disease. Fred Kuzara was born April 18, 1936 and was a lifelong Chicagoan. Fred was a loving husband, a devoted father and grandfather.
His family meant the world to him and was always his top priority. He loved being surrounded by his family. Fred was taken care of in his home by his loving wife of 55 years Carol nee Znoy, his son Steve and wife Lydia and his special needs granddaughter Danielle. His last years were tough but he was surrounded and put at ease by those who loved and cared for him as he did them, his family.
Fred worked on the assembly line at Western Electric for 22 years before the plant closed and then worked security after to keep himself busy until retiring. He then turned to gardening, being outdoors and finding fix-it projects to do. Fred is also survived by 2 daughters Karen and Janet, 6 grandchildren Danielle, Alex (Laura), Cassie (John), Erin, Kaitlin and Shannonn.
Fred had 3 great grandchildren James, Drew and Rowan Joan. Fred also had a brother John (Shirley) and 2 sisters Beverly and Adeline. He was an uncle to 11 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Fred J. Kuzara Sr., his mother Stella and Stepfather John Pawlarczyk.
