He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rita; his stepchild Yana; his sibling Vladamir (Alla); his nieces and nephews, Masha and Natalia; and his cousin Boris.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Star of David Cemetery (5736 N Pulaski Rd, Chicago, IL 60646). A reception was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 12:30 PM at 500 Anthony Trail, Northbrook, IL 60062.
