We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2026, at the age of 80, George John Bohling Jr. (Chicago, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, George shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid George farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George J Bohling, and Blanche Horner Bohling, Sr.; and his sisters, Beverly Konyar and Barbara Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Gail); and his children, George Joseph and Caitlin Elizabeth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces & nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Malec and Sons (6000 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646).
