Harry leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Harry’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Harry will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wertheimer and Edith Wertheimer; his wife Dorothy Kagan Wertheimer; and his son Kevin Lee Wertheimer. He is survived by: his children, Steven Wertheimer and Linda Wertheimer Mintz (Pavilk); his sister Helen Hubler; his grandson Simon Mintz; and his great-niece Linda Newmark. He is also survived by three nieces; a nephew.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rosehill Cemetery (5800 N Ravenswood Ave, Chicago, IL 60660).
