It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helena Bafia (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Bronislaw; and her parents, Ludwika Wodziak and Jan Wodziak. She is survived by: her children, Maria Korkosz (Jozef), Jozef Bafia (Anna) and Jane Ligas; her grandchildren, Ryszard Korkosz (Magdalena), Renata Latos (Przemysław), Krzysztof Korkosz (Malgorzata), Robert Korkosz (Dominika), Mariusz Bafia (Katarzyna), Malgorzata Bafia, Ralph Ligas (Agata) and Matthew Ligas; and her great grandchildren, Kacper, Maciej, Kamil, Gabriel, Julia, Jakub, Veronika, Patrycja and Mateusz. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Helena's family appreciates Masses in lieu of flowers.
