With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helene Block Fields (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on January 24, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouses, Thomas Fields and Ralph Block; and her brother Calvin. She is survived by: her sons, David Block (Ellen) and Steven Block (Renee Vaughan); her grandchildren, Aaron (Cherie Perkell), Joshua Mora, Emily, Benji, Abigail, Michael, Zoe, Nkosi and Omari; her great grandchildren, Brody, Raquel, Ethan, Charlotte and Julianne; and her siblings, Allen Kanter (Diane), Myrna Orenstein (John Summerhays) and Linda Atlas (Jerry). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
