Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Helene for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her son Jay Bronstein; and her brother Allan Burman. She is survived by: her husband David; her daughter Ronna Trumfio (Dave); her sister-in-law Phyllis Burman; and her nephews, Todd (Kim), Scott (Emily) and Keith Burman. She is also survived by many other family members as well as dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Shalom Chapel Service Shalom Memorial Funeral Home (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
Helene extended her care to spend her days donating to an abundant number of charities on a yearly basis including Project Hope, World Jewish Congress, American Lung Association, Southern Poverty Law Center ("SPLC"), American Institute for Cancer Research, Human Rights Campaign ("HRC"), Doctors without Borders, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, GLAAD Pride, and APLA Health. Donations can be made in her name to the charities of her choice.
